Designer Divas was established in 2007 by two friends in Illinois and Northwest Indiana with over 50 years of combined experience in breeding &showing dogs, cats, and horses. Quite simply, we love raising these beautiful, healthy, sweet babies and then seeing the joy they bring to their new families. All puppies are raised in our homes with lots of love and attention. They are socialized with cats, dogs, and lots of commotion to ensure they will adapt well to your home. We both have people who come back to us for additional pets, some right away and many several years later. We believe in establishing and maintaining strong and lasting relationships with the families who lovingly bring one of our babies into their lives.

We have recently begun a program of Cavapoos and next spring we will be having our first Tiny Teacup ChiPoos, Tiny TeacupYorki-Poos, and TibePoos!

Our sires and dams are selected based upon health, temperament, intelligence, and confirmation. They come from top AKC lines, and have been cleared of all genentic diseases associated with their particular breed such as heart clearances and patella clearances on the Cavaliers.

We urge you to learn the potential genetic problems with each designer breed and ask those questions of every breeder you contact in your search for a new family member. Many veterinarians are alarmed at the high number of designer puppies coming to them with serious, sometimes even fatal genetic defects. Health is first and foremost our priority, and we are committed to careful breeding and testing, selecting only those dogs that meet the breed standard and have the appropriate health clearances. Whether you get a puppy from us or from someone else. please be sure to demand that the puppy comes from healthy, high quality parents. There is nothing worse than falling in love with a puppy only to learn that the puppy has serious health issues.

We also believe in raising our puppies in our homes rather than in a kennel situation. Those first weeks of life is when much of the "imprinting" takes place that determines the future personality and trainability of the puppy. Of course, we have a great deal of fun playing with the babies too! Puppies come to you pre-spoiled, with their first vaccinations and dewormings along with a health check from our vets.

Shipping in the U.S. on Continental Airlines is available for an additional $350. The price includes airfare, crate. Health Certificate for travel, and transport to Chicago/O'Hare.
